The Mikuni TM40-6 carburetor is appropriately sized and can be easily installed on higher-performance Yamaha 500cc SR, TT, and XT models. This Mikuni TM40-6 Pumper carburetor serves as a direct replacement for the inlet snorkel of the Yamaha SR, TT, and XT. With the installation of the included outlet mounting flange, which slightly shifts the carburetor forward, it ensures adequate clearance from the frame. While most Yamaha OEM Push/Pull throttle cables are compatible, this kit also includes new throttle cables and a 1/4 turn quick action throttle for added convenience. Additionally, there is a hose tail on the carburetor for connecting to vacuum-operated fuel taps.

The necessary jets and pump nozzle for optimal operation on Yamaha 500cc singles have been pre-installed, and spare parts are provided for fine-tuning the main jet circuit during wide-open throttle tests.
