     This Mikuni RS36 carburetor kit will significantly enhance the performance of your machine, providing up to a 25% increase in power while ensuring smooth operation without any hesitations or flat spots.

     You will soon discover that the cost of rebuilding your old, worn OEM carburetors can greatly surpass the price of these new units. Unfortunately, many rebuilds today often involve the risk of using subpar aftermarket components. Given this situation, if you plan to ride and enjoy your motorcycle for many years, it is wise to retire your OEM carburetors and upgrade to a set of RS carbs, as the improvement will be remarkable.

     Before placing an order, please verify your carburetor spacing and sizes for compatibility.

     These carburetors have a length of 100mm from front to back and an outer diameter of 55mm at the air-filter inlet and 42mm at the outlet. They are a direct replacement for Mikuni CV carburetors. The OEM throttle cables from XV Yamaha Virago models equipped with Mikuni CVs will fit these RS carburetors; however, models with Hitachi carburetors will not be compatible. If you are replacing Hitachi carburetors, you can either modify your cables or opt for the carburetor package that includes our accessory throttle and cable combination. Additionally, the Hitachi carburetors are approximately 16mm longer than both the CVs and the new RS carburetors. If you wish to retain your stock airbox, we can provide 16mm extenders for your new carburetor set. .

     This Mikuni kit includes the following carb throat center-to-center spacings for direct fitment to Yamaha XS750 and XS850 triple models, as well as others with similar carb spacing measurements:

A= 90mm (center-to-center spacing between carb 1 & 2)
B= 90mm (center-to-center spacing between carb 2 & 3)
