 The Dual Mikuni VM34 carburetor kit is easily fitted to your BMW R90 and the improvement is instant. This kit includes aluminum sleeves fitted to both ends of the Mikuni VM34 to match the original Bing carburetor dimensions. We supply a 2-1 cable with a push in style end.

40mm Bing Carbs  have a 52mm outlet spigot diameter at the motor end, we fit a larger 52mm sleeve so as to properly match your OEM rubber boot but some very early models do differ.

Please verify before your OEM intake boot side when ordering.

The Mikuni vm34 carb dimensions are 50mm inlet x 113mm front to back length x 44mm outlet.
Removal of a mm or two in length from the air filter plastic pipe may be required but usually not necessary (stock carb 110mm long).

Once tuned a VM Mikuni will not go out of tune for many years.

The BMW R90S is a 900cc sport motorcycle produced by BMW from 1973 to 1976. BMW commissioned designer Hans Muth to oversee the R90S, which became the flagship of the boxer engined "/6" range. Sporting distinctive two-tone paintwork, a bikini fairing and a new tail, the R90S was intended to shrug off the enduring image of BMW bikes as staid.
