R100 BMW VM34 Replacement Carburetor Kit | VM34 Mikuni Kit | 1976 to 1984

  The Dual Mikuni VM34 carburetor kit is easily fitted to your BMW R100 and the improvement is instant. This kit includes aluminum sleeves fitted to both ends of the Mikuni VM34 to match the original Bing carburetor dimensions. We supply a 2-1 cable with a push in style end.

  40mm Bing Carbs  have a 52mm outlet spigot diameter at the motor end, we fit a larger 52mm sleeve so as to properly match your OEM rubber boot but some very early models do differ.
Please verify before youe OEM intake boot side when ordering.

The Mikuni vm34 carb dimensions are 50mm inlet x 113mm front to back length x 44mm outlet.
Removal of a mm or two in length from the air filter plastic pipe may be required but usually not necessary (stock carb 110mm long).

Once tuned a VM Mikuni will not go out of tune for many years.

BMW R100, with variant models designated by T, S, CS, RS, RS Classic, RT, RT Classic, TIC, TC, R and GS is a BMW motorcycle series, using a two-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine of 980 cc capacity. Model production began in 1976, with a premature shutdown and subsequent restart in 1985, and final completion of the series in 1996.
