The exposed inner cable length is precisely matched for Mikuni VM carbs using the keyhole-style cable attachment to the throttle slide (slide top).

Note on OEM VM carbs: If your VM carb uses the older screw-on cable holder style (attached directly to the slide), this throttle/cable combo is compatible only with 36mm and larger sizes.

• For cleaning (especially important on dirt bikes), flush with WD-40 or light oil like 3-in-1 to remove dirt and grime without causing buildup or restriction.
