Product Description:

The Mikuni HSR48 48mm Carburetor Kit is specifically tailored for Harley Davidson large capacity engines. This kit features a natural finish carburetor with included jets and a rubber mounting flange that has slotted mounting holes suitable for manifolds with 70 through 77mm stud center spacings. It is recommended for engines 115 cubic inches and larger, or for engines with heads that have been flowed to require a high 270 CFM flow rate.

Note on Installation:

The HSR48 carburetor is slightly larger than the HSR42 or HSR45 models, featuring a taller design and larger spigot diameter on the engine side. Some installations may encounter interference with chassis parts due to these dimensions. Mikuni provides a manifold assembly that fits the HSR48 to stock Evo or Twin Cam motors, but does not offer special manifolds for engines with non-standard cylinder head spacing or larger intake ports.
