Harley Davidson Mikuni HSR42 Total Kit Shovelhead W/LH Throttle Control

This Mikuni HSR42 Total Kit suits all Harley Davidson Shovelhead models.

The kit includes a customized Mikuni HSR 42mm Carburetor where for rockerbox oil line clearance we have re-manufactured this carb, lowering and moving the throttle cable connection to the left-hand side of the carb. There’s a choice of stock length or 6″ over throttle cables when ordering, a new OEM type throttle assy, a choke cable and universal bracket, Mikuni K&N air filter with cover and mounting hardware, a specially designed Mikuni 1/2″ drop down manifold for better tank clearance with heavy duty rubber mounting flange, plus some jets for fine tuning.

Earlier models using the O-ring seal type manifold will need to be upgraded for use with this manifold, to the later system with the purchase of a pair of band type seals and matching clamps. Later models will just need the purchase of new bands.

Performance increases of up to and well over 25% can be expected when replacing other carbs on your engine.
