Description

Suzuki DR350 DR250 DRZ250 DRZ350 Mikuni Carburetor Kit | TM33 Pumper Carb Kit | Upgrade - Performance

The Mikuni TM33 Pumper Carb Kit is a popular performance upgrade and reliable replacement for Suzuki DR350, DR250, DRZ250, and DRZ350 models. This genuine Mikuni TM33 flatslide carburetor with built-in accelerator pump (pumper) delivers crisp throttle response, eliminates hesitation and bogging, and provides smoother power delivery—ideal for trail, dual-sport, or vintage bike enthusiasts seeking better starting and overall rideability.

Model-Specific Fitment and What's Included

  • DRZ350 / DR350 (as stock replacement): The TM33 serves as a direct stock-style replacement carburetor. When selecting this model, only the carburetor itself is included (pre-jetted for optimal performance). No additional cables, adapters, or jets are bundled unless specified.
  • DR350 with CV carb (diaphragm slide type): If your DR350 has the stock CV (constant velocity) carb, you'll need an adapter for proper fitment on the airbox/engine side. Select the optional adapter from the dropdown menu during purchase (or buy it separately). The TM33 inlet is 50mm—smaller than the CV carb—so the stock rubber boot won't clamp securely without the adapter. Your existing CV throttle cables connect directly with no modifications required.
  • DR250 / DRZ250: The kit includes the TM33 carb plus a new pilot jet and main jet that must be installed for proper tuning (spares often provided for fine adjustments based on altitude, mods, etc.).
  • If replacing a 28mm mechanical pumper carb (common on some DR250 variants): The stock throttle cables will likely be too short. You'll need to swap over your existing cable bracket, rotor, and shaft to the new carb. To do this: Remove the carb top, unscrew the throttle valve arm screw, carefully slide out the shaft (keeping the rotor in place), then reinstall it into the TM33.If your DR250 has a CV carb (diaphragm slide): Add the adapter via the dropdown (same as DR350 CV notes). The 50mm TM33 inlet means the larger CV boot won't secure properly without it. Stock CV throttle cables fit directly.

The TM33's flatslide design and pumper system offer superior atomization and instant response compared to stock CV or smaller carbs, with many users reporting dramatic improvements in low-end snap and mid-range pull.

Installation Tips

  • Always confirm your bike's exact carb type (CV vs. pumper/mechanical) before ordering.
  • Minor fitment adjustments (like adapters or cable swaps) are common for older models—check photos or guides from similar installs.
  • Fine-tune jets as needed for your setup (climate, elevation, exhaust, etc.).
