Mikuni VM & TM Carbs | 10mm Top fitting Cable | 90 Degree Lower | 950 Long

This Mikuni throttle cable measures 950mm in length (measured from chrome elbow to elbow) and is designed for use with 10mm threaded throttles paired with Mikuni VM carbs (38mm) and all non-pumper TM Mikuni carburetors (28mm to 38mm).

It includes a 90-degree lower fitting that screws directly into the carburetor top for a clean, low-profile installation, along with an angled 10mm throttle fitting as shown in the product photo.

Important note on carb top access: Since the elbow threads directly into the carb top, accessing the needle for clip adjustments or maintenance requires removing the carburetor and rotating the entire body to unscrew the top. Alternatively, you can loosen the top lock nut fully to allow the carb cap to spin up the elbow fitting when removing the top—avoiding the need to fully remove the carb in many cases.

Custom inner wire length: Unless pairing with our universal black alloy throttle, the exposed inner wire length must be customized to suit your specific motorcycle throttle and carburetor size combination. Please specify your throttle type/brand and intended carb size(s) at checkout. If we're unsure of the exact length needed, provide measurement A from the product photo (the exposed inner cable length from the barrel end to the shoulder of the fitting).

These high-quality cables feature a Nylon-lined outer housing for reduced friction and excellent heat resistance, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.

Installation and maintenance tips:

• Lubricate the inner wire with cable lube or a light oil (such as 3-in-1) during installation to prevent clogging and ensure smooth action.
• Apply a light waterproof grease to the cable end barrels at their pivot points.
• For cleaning (especially useful on dirt bikes), use WD-40 or light oil like 3-in-1 to flush out dirt without causing buildup or clogging.
