Designed for bikes with side-facing rubber air-box boots, this conversion replaces your stock dual carbs with a single, powerful flatslide carb for smoother throttle response, easier starting, and more torque across the rev range.

• Mikuni TM38-86 Flatslide Carburetor
• Cast 2-into-1 Intake Manifold
• Heavy-Duty Rubber Engine Mount Flange
• Forked Air-Box Adapter (with hose clamp)
• Quick-Action 1/4 Turn Throttle
• Nylon-Lined Throttle Cable with 90° Carb Top Fitting
• Jetting Kit with Installed and Spare Jets
• Knob-Style Choke (optional cable choke kits sold separately)

Fitment:

• Yamaha XT550 1982 1983 

Installation Requirements:

• Frame Modification: Remove a 45mm x 10mm section from rear cross brace for carb clearance
• Manifold Fitment: Some trimming of engine fin or manifold may be required
• Air-Box Boots: OEM rubber boots must be shortened to fit the included adapter
