Mikuni RS38 Carb Kit | Suzuki GSFS Bandit 2000 & Later | Mikuni Carburetor Kit

This Mikuni RS38 carburetor kit is designed for direct installation on most Suzuki Bandit air/oil cooled engines. It significantly enhances the performance of your motorcycle, offering up to a 25% increase in power while ensuring smooth operation without any hesitations or flat spots. Additionally, the more popular RS38 size is also available.

It is important to note that the cost of rebuilding your old, worn OEM carburetors can often surpass the price of these new units. Furthermore, many rebuilds today involve the risk of using subpar aftermarket components. Therefore, if you plan to ride and enjoy your motorcycle, it is advisable to retire your OEM carburetors and upgrade to a set of RS carburetors.

Before placing an order, please verify your carburetor spacing and sizes for compatibility, as these are not suitable for downdraft engines.

This Mikuni kit features the following center-to-center throttle port spacings for direct fitment to Suzuki Bandit air/oil cooled engines:

A= 77mm (spacing between carburetors 1 & 2)
B= 93mm (spacing between carburetors 2 & 3)
C= 77mm (spacing between carburetors 3 & 4)

The total front-to-back length of the carburetor is 100mm, which replaces OEM carburetors measuring between 96mm and 100mm. It is available with a 55mm inlet outside diameter for use with POD filters or velocity stacks, or with fitted sleeves that increase the inlet diameter to 58mm or 62mm for compatibility with standard air boxes. Please check your inlet diameter if you intend to use your air box, as some carburetors may require 62mm sleeves instead of 58mm. The OEM carburetors are oval, and by averaging the horizontal and vertical measurements, you can determine the most suitable option. The outlet diameter at the engine end of the carburetor is 42mm.

All sleeves are CNC machined, silver anodized, and permanently secured using 620 Loctite.
