Mikuni RS38 Carb Kit- Honda Four DOHC CB900

This Mikuni RS38 carburetor kit is designed for the Honda DOHC CB 900 models equipped with race-tuned engines. It promises to revitalize your motorcycle, offering up to a 25% increase in power while ensuring optimal performance without any hesitations or flat spots.

You may soon discover that the cost of refurbishing your old, worn OEM carburetors can significantly surpass the price of these new units. Additionally, many rebuilds today often involve the risk of using subpar aftermarket components. Given this situation, if you plan to ride and enjoy your motorcycle, it is advisable to retire your OEM carburetors and upgrade to a set of RS carburetors.

Before placing an order, please verify your carburetor spacing and sizes for compatibility, as these are not suitable for downdraft engines.

Option 1 is compatible with models from 1979 to 1983, with an outlet diameter of 44mm at the engine side:
A= 80mm (spacing center to center between carb 1 & 2)
B= 100mm (carb 2 & 3)
C= 80mm (carb 3 & 4)

Option 2 is suitable for models from 1984 and later, featuring an outlet diameter of 42mm at the engine side. Please note that these carburetors are 4mm shorter front to back than the OEM units when using the OEM airbox. An oil line modification may be necessary for carb bowl clearance on certain models, as illustrated in the picture gallery:
A= 72mm (spacing center to center between carb 1 & 2)
B= 88mm (carb 2 & 3)
C= 72mm (carb 3 & 4)

Please be aware that your stock throttle cables will not be compatible with these carburetors.
