Mikuni RS 34mm Carb Kit Suzuki GS650E and GS550E

This Mikuni RS34 carburetor Kit suits Suzuki GS550E and GS650E ( not the shaft drive GS650G which has the standard RS 77-93-77 carb spacing when replacing the offset rubbers with straight )  four cylinder models when replacing OEM 32mm carbs. They will breathe a whole new lease of life into your machine with an up to and over a 25% increase in power and a huge WOW factor, whilst still making it perform and operate as it should with no hesitations or flat spots.

You will very quickly realize that the expense of a rebuild of your old worn OEM carbs can far exceed the cost of these new units and unfortunately as with many rebuilds now days you only have the option in many cases of gambling with very poor quality aftermarket parts. Considering this and if intending to ride and enjoy your motorcycle it makes good sense to retire your OEM carbs into the cupboard and step up to a set of RS’s.

This carb kit is custom built using unique mounting plates, stainless steel throttle and choke shafts, along with new fuel connection spacers so as to best match the OEM Suzuki GS550 and GS650 75-82-75 carb centre to centre spacing’s for direct fitment. They will match your engine rubbers with an outside diameter of 40mm but being 55mm will not adapt to the OEM air box. There is also the option for a left-hand outside throttle cable connection relocation. Please confirm the following before ordering and do contact us if you have any concerns, the reason we do request you confirm your measurements is that with these older bikes, engines and or components may have been swapped out in the past and there are a couple of different carb spacings with the earlier and very late models. A mm or two when using rubber connectors isn’t an issue.

REQUIRED ACCESSORIES– These carbs fit directly into your 40mm motor mounting flanges but as your airbox side is smaller than these at 55mm and these are over 20mm shorter, the fitment and use of POD filters is required unless you want to make custom extender sleeves to connect to your OEM air-box
