Ducati 860 900 Desmo | TM38 Twin | Mikuni Flatslide Kit

The kit includes: Two pre-jetted TM38 Mikuni Carburetors. A pair of nylon lined throttle cables and a new twin pull throttle (where the black throttle housing can be swapped out for chrome on request).

If you do advise at the time of ordering that you require a special cable length we can in most cases do the changes at no cost. This only applies to a request at the time of purchase. As there are no locator recesses in the Ducati manifold section, our mounting boots will not suit and you will need to source some Turbo Hose or fuel line for your new carb connection to the cylinder head.

• There are some POD air filters available for these carbs along with a listing of all other accessories, found when selecting TM38 off the TM Flatslide (non-pump) drop list in the main site menu on the left of the screen.

The jets to make this carb operate on Ducati desmo 860 and 900 engines have been fitted and there are spares for fine tuning the main jet circuit doing WOT tests. Climate, altitude and fuel density from different octane fuels all have varying effects on final fine tuning as does cam, exhaust and cylinder head porting etc.
