Mikuni RS 34mm Carb Kit- Honda SOHC CB550F (also CB500F)

This Mikuni RS34 carburetor Kit suits Honda CB550 Four Single Overhead Cam K Models. They will breathe a whole new lease of life into your machine with an over a 25% increase in power and a huge WOW factor, whilst still making it perform and operate as it should with no hesitations or flat spots.

You will very quickly realize that the expense of a rebuild of your old worn OEM carbs can far exceed the cost of these new units and unfortunately as with many rebuilds now days you only have the option in many cases of gambling with very poor quality aftermarket parts. Considering this and if intending to ride and enjoy your motorcycle it makes good sense to retire your OEM carbs into the cupboard and step up to a set of RS’s.

These carbs come with rubber reducing boots and clamps supplied stepping down the 40mm carb spigots to match your 36mm alloy manifolds.

Before rushing in and ordering please firstly check your carb spacing and carbie sizes for compatibility.

This carb kit comes with the following carb center to center spacing’s for direct fitment to Honda CB750 K models. They will not adapt to the OEM air box.

Please confirm the following before ordering and do contact us if you have any concerns, the reason we do request you confirm your measurements is with these older bikes, engines and or components may have been swapped out in the past and there are a couple of different carb spacings with the earlier and late SOHC models. A mm or two when using rubber connectors isn’t an issue.

The more common spacings are:

A= 75-77mm
B= 75-77mm
C= 75-77mm          This kit is supplied at 76.5 – 79 – 76.5 requiring the slightest rubber boot manipulation to squeeze in. 

The throttle cable connection is on the left side of carb #2 where with this set there is the option for a left-hand outside relocation. If wanting this option please advise at purchase.
