Description
This Mikuni Carburetor kit is for converting to a high performance carburetor, Harley Davidson Twin Cam models using the earlier Magneti Marelli or throttle cable operated Delphi injection systems.
The following kit components are included:
Mikuni HSR Total Kit 45-4P with polished/chrome carburetor for 1999 to present Harley Davidson Twin Cam 96cui up Bigtwin Models using standard width manifolds. For the maximum available increase in all round performance and power available, these kits are complete with everything needed for a total installation. Kits include a Mikuni HSR 45mm carburetor, new performance manifold, rubber flange, 3″ wide maximum high flow K&N Filter, chrome cover, breather kit and mounting hardware. A new up-graded choke cable is provided and simply connect up your stock throttle cables. Both the air-cleaner element and manifold will deliver an additional performance improvement over the Screaming Eagle equivalents. It is always recommended to replace your manifold to head o-ring gaskets when fitting a new manifold.
Stainless steel Gas tank fittings and Hi-Flow Fuel Petcock. The gas tank adapter and plug sets differ between the early Magneti Marelli Tanks with an 18mm plug for blanking off the no longer required EFI return port and a 3/4″ x 16TPI thread on the petcock fitting. These are the ones pictured with the red washers (Loctite 567 Sealant required) and an inline fuel filter needs to be purchased separately along with your new fuel line of choice as the adapter inside diameter negates the space for a petcock screen. The same applies to the two Delphi options where the earlier tanks require a second 22mm plug and the later just the petcock adapter.

Happy to have found this kit! Cold start and idle problems are a thing of the past. Very pleased with my purchase. The dudes over at speedmoto were very easy to work with and walked me through the process for my engine size. Thanks guys!
